Whydo I Choose Wordpress Self-Hosted Blogging Platform

There are so many peoples who use WordPress for their blogging needs and I am also using WordPress. I have also used other blogging platforms in which I especially like to use Blogger platform and it was also the one from which I taken my steps upon blogging. There are few reasons why I am not using Blogger and using WordPress which I’ll explain in this article.

Control:

When it comes to control over blog many of other blogging platform fail to satisfy the user. In WordPress, everything is control upon you and your hosting provider. Hosting Providers generally didn’t do anything with your blog unless you are violating others copyright and they got any legal complain. So your blog will have your own control, you can post as many articles you want with no limitations or captcha problems, which happen in Blogger.

One of important reasons why I am not using Blogger is they also can delete your blog. So, to make sure that my blog will secure and all of my works from getting deleted I am using WordPress self-hosted platform.

Plugins:

This is most important reason why peoples use WordPress and me too. There are lots of plugins available to make your blog better and better.

You can use plugins to place good looking widgets to make your blog look better, without touching a little code. You can easily change your blog’s commenting system by using its official or unofficial plugin, which can be hard for newbies to change in other platforms. There many more plugins of various types which can be helpful for you.

SEO:

WordPress blogging platform can be optimized for search engines easily. The thing which newbies don’t know is to ping search engines to get articles indexed faster and another thing which many bloggers don’t know is WordPress automatically ping your latest articles to search engines when they get published. Due to its simplicity upon search engine optimization I chose it.

Templates:

I found lots of free SEO optimized templates for WordPress. You will have option to choose from thousands of free templates to set on your blog. Even there are few great sites that provide best templates for WordPress.

There are also many of paid templates available by various sources, the reason why most of templates are paid is those templates are not only looks good but also have great customization options and search engine optimized, such as Genesis Framework can be taken as great example because by using this you can create your own great looking template without using much coding.

Easy To Use:

WordPress Dashboard is too easy to use and also options can also be easily access and can be change. I found that using this much easier than many of other blogging platforms, except Blogger. If you cannot find any option which you want to use than you can easily search for that function plugin and if that is there than you can easily install that.
